01. Dust-Free Sanding

We sand the floor using multiple passes, starting with aggressive grits to level scratches and finishing with fine grits for a silky smooth feel.

02. Color Consultation

Custom Stain Application

We apply physical stain samples directly to your raw wood so you can see how the colors look under your home's lighting before we apply the coat.

Triple Polyurethane Seal

Service Questions

Most solid hardwood floors can be sanded and refinished 4 to 7 times over their lifespan, depending on the thickness of the wear layer. Engineered floors can usually be refinished 1 to 2 times, provided they have a wear layer of at least 3mm. We check this before starting.

Water-based polyurethane dries faster (allowing you to walk on it sooner), has low odor and VOCs, and stays crystal clear over time. Oil-based polyurethane has a slight amber glow that highlights wood grain warmth and is slightly more resistant to moisture, but takes longer to cure.

For water-based poly, you can walk with socks after 24 hours, and bring light furniture back after 48 hours. Pets and heavy traffic should wait 4-5 days. For oil-based finish, double these timelines to ensure the sealer cures completely without scratching.
