Affordable, exceptionally hard-wearing laminate with the realistic texture and appearance of natural wood, installed fast and finished clean.
Laminate flooring has advanced significantly. Modern laminate features high-density fiberboard cores topped with incredibly realistic, 3D embossed wood textures that replicate oak, hickory, and exotic woods so closely they are hard to distinguish from natural planks.
Laminate is highly resistant to scratches, impact, and fading from sunlight, making it one of the best choices for pet claws, active children, and high-traffic hallways. It is also highly budget-friendly, providing a premium wood look at a fraction of the cost.
Our experienced installers lay down high-grade acoustic padding to prevent the "hollow" sound sometimes associated with older laminates, securing a quiet, soft walk throughout your home.
We sand down high concrete seams or secure loose subfloor plywood, removing all debris to create a level, stable base.
We lay down specialized foam underlayment that provides a moisture barrier, dampens footstep sounds, and cushions the floor.
We lay the planks with clean, staggered patterns, locking the joints tightly and installing matching transition moldings.
Laminate is more scratch-resistant and cost-effective than real hardwood, but it cannot be sanded and refinished down the road. Hardwood has a higher resale value and lasts for generations, whereas laminate typically lasts 15 to 25 years before needing replacement.
Yes. Laminate has a hard aluminum-oxide top wear layer, making it exceptionally resistant to scratches from dog claws, high heels, and toys. It ranks significantly higher in scratch resistance than solid natural hardwood like oak or walnut.
While some modern laminates are treated with water-resistant edge sealants (holding water for 24-48 hours), laminate is not recommended for full bathrooms where standing water is common. For high-moisture bathrooms, we strongly recommend Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) instead.
